Scholarships
Established in 1990, the Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum Founding Members Scholarship Program awarded its first $1,000 scholarship in May, 1990. Thru May, 2018 $846,500.00 has been awarded to deserving young women in six school districts. Scholarship recipients will be chosen from qualified applicants in all high schools in the Conroe, Klein, Magnolia, Spring and Tomball school districts and from students who attend Cypress Creek, Cypress Woods, Cypress-Fairbanks and Jersey Village high schools in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.
The scholarships are based on three criteria: community service, academic performance and financial need. Scholarship applications are available in the school counselor offices during October and completed applications are due by mid-January. Each applicant is interviewed by a panel of CWJF members prior to presentation of the scholarship award. Scholarship recipients receive their scholarships in May at their high school awards ceremony.
